LO2: Plan elements for use in the first level of a new computer/console game.

Game Synopsis and Mechanics: Synopsis: The game is set in the fictional world of Medolth, inspired by the fantasy games such as; The Elder Scrolls Series and World of Warcraft. The world is in peril, being ruled over by an evil overlord. The game revolves around a single protagonist that starts from nothing and works his way to becoming a hero, eventually saving the world from its evil ruler.  The tutorial level that we are creating will take place in the protagonist's home. This will be set in the basement of a tavern, where he lives. The player will start next to their bed, as if they had just woken up, and be prompted to go check upstairs to see what if anything is happening in the town that day. Upon trying to leave the basement the player will then be prompted to grab one of their weapons to take with them. Mind Map of Game Ideas: My Final Game Idea: This game is a 2D side-stroller shooter that's in a cut-away view, the game is stylised like a comic book, with each pane of the comic there is a different room that is randomly picked from a list of set rooms, the player must kill every enemy or achieve an objective to recieve a key to move onto the next pane. The comics are episodic, with each comic being themed with different genres (Horror, sci-fi, medieval etc.). The enemies, that can be created by other players, can be put into your game. These enemies follow a theme, just like the comics, you can then choose an enemy type for the different comics, have different weapons and armour and finally the colours themes of the enemy, the player's character is also customisable but only the amour, weapons and colours. The difficulty is set with 'age ratings',  3 being the easiest, 12 being medium and 18 being the hardest. At the end of each comic you fight a...
